Question Fun with my Necro?

Hi there. I've been playing Guild Wars on and off since Beta. I recently re-discovered my love for the game and have started playing again. I have always played my Necro, and don't have any other toons beyond level 14. I have "completed" Prophecies, and have access to Factions, Nightfall and EotN, but haven't completed any other campaigns apart from Prophecies. I don't go after titles, or anything of the sort, and I don't have the best gear (currently max level non-elite armour, and the standard scars setup for 55ing). My cash sits at around 15-20k, so I can purchase most things i need.

What initially got me re-interested in GW was the 55 Necro and it's soloing of bosses. I thought it was absurd that a 55hp toon could solo in this game, so gave it a whirl. It was good for a while, but since most of the "farm" spots have been nerfed it doesn't hold as high a reward. One spell I don't have access to yet is Spoil Victor, so maybe when I get that 55-ing will appeal to me once more.

I normally like to play solo - that way i'm in control (of my 3 Heros), don't have to worry about people lagging or DCing and generally don't have to deal with arseholes. I'm not in a guild at present but may re-join one. I'm not a big fan of PvP either as I don't like the elitist attitude of some people there.

My question to you is where do you go to have (Necro) fun in PvE? Be it with H/H or solo. I'm not asking for you to give away farming spots or secrets here, but some ideas would be nice

Wherever there's flesh. The more fleshy mobs I have to kill, the more fun I have. Fortunately, that covers a good amount of real estate in this game.

As for playing with no other real people I am not sure. But as far as elite ares go most groups need a necro in some role.

UW speed clears use one (think it is an SS/chilblains build)
Fow speed clears use a Mark of pain, assasin's promise nuker (this is particularly fun to play because on a good spike you get to see lots of damage numbers, plus you really drive the team getting to pick targets and call spikes)
Voltaic spear farming used a 1 hp BiP necro
Discord spike can clear most areas

Necro fun...
In no particular order:

Minion Mastery - raise undead minions to kill and divert the enemy's attention. Also bring nice support skills.
Discord spikes - hero builds mostly, 3 Nec heroes with Discord and a human X/A caller usually (N/A is the best suited). Good H/H build.
SS (generic) curses - use SS and other curses to debilitate and hurt the enemy.
AP-MoP - use Assassin's Promise to recharge Mark of Pain, Barbs and Rigor Mortis. Can be used to make large groups die in seconds with a load of physicals.
Fevered Dreams - use FD and PvE skills to apply debilitation conditions fairly rapidly, stuff like Enfeeble is great. Can also deal damage with Fragility, Cry of Pain, YMLAD and Finish Him. Good defensive build that makes H/H fairly easy, if slower than other options. Potentially usable by any caster, but I find N/Me to be the best option.

Farming can go to hell as far as I'm concerned, but there are plenty of farming builds around on - www.pvxwiki.com has a load.
